Serenity9 has been an active member of Toronto's vibrant BDSM scene since 2009. Discovering rope early, it has since become entwined with his life and play. His rope work is heavily influenced by japanese style rope bondage and through rope he finds connection, art, expression and intimacy. He has presented on rope as well as a broad range of topics related to BDSM within Toronto and abroad. He currently performs locally and serves as an organizer of Toronto's TNG serenity-bound.com

He is known in the bondage community for his dynamic personal style of rope bondage, engaging his partner with an aggressive sensuality. As an instructor, he is clear and genuine, and takes a holistic approach to the subject matter.
